The Acrylic is mixed into the longitudinal yarns so that the blanket can maintain its shape while being light weight and very soft. As a result, you can even wash it in a washing machine with the delicate settings with cold water. Shedding is normal for Alpaca Wool and can be reduced significantly by washing it. Please follow the wash recommendation below.
